Founder
My name is Benjamin Capotosto. I served as a firefighter for six years, and today I’m the father of two young children. As my kids grow up in a digital world filled with endless media, I’ve noticed how few shows and games truly reflect the Christian values I want to teach them. Finding content that’s both safe and meaningful is surprisingly hard—and even when something seems safe, it’s often only a handful of programs that I can fully stand behind. Even one of my favorite shows, Bluey, eventually took directions that didn’t align with our family’s values.

I also realized something about myself: while seeking entertainment, I sometimes compromised my own standards simply because there weren’t alternatives. Many shows and games rely on extreme language, unnecessary scenes, or content that adds nothing meaningful to the story.

That’s why I started ReelCap Media. Instead of waiting for someone else to create media that aligns with our values, we produce it ourselves. Our mission is to create family-friendly entertainment that parents can trust and kids can enjoy, stories that inspire creativity, imagination, and strong values.
One of the ways we bring this mission to life is through ReelPuppet, our self-paced 2D animation program.
ReelPuppet empowers kids and teens to take their own stories from imagination to screen. They learn real animation skills in a fun, approachable way—without the fluff or distractions that often fill modern media. It’s not just about watching content—it’s about making content, giving young creators the tools to tell their own stories, explore creativity, and gain confidence along the way.
